Startup terms “truffle pig” or “pioneer sales person” or “evangelical sales person”
I just learned the term “truffle pig” to describe a resourceful and relentless salesperson who manages to find opportunities on their own with no marketing resources and in markets and organizations where no one expected to find opportunities.
I’ve also heard this called “pioneer sales person” or “evangelical sales person.”
